Using it for the first time

There are two ways to connect a device to your computer: ActiveSync and Mass Storage. Mass Storage is faster but doesn't support all the devices. ActiveSync is slower but all devices using it should be supported.

ActiveSync is only available on Windows platforms (Windows Mobile and most PNDs).

A) Synchronisation via USB cable with ActiveSync:

If the Operating System on your computer is Windows XP, please install the ActiveSync application on your computer, so that your device is recognized.

If the Operating System on your computer is Windows Vista, it is possible that the Window Mobile Device Center application is already installed. If not, please install Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer, so that your device is recognized.

If the Operating System on your computer is Windows 7, it is possible that the Windows Mobile Device Center application is already installed. If not, please install Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer, so that your device is recognized.

B) Synchronisation via the memory card (Symbian phones only):

In Symbian phones, you must remove the memory card and insert it directly into your computer so that you can proceed to the update process. With Symbian, it is recommended that you perform updates using the memory card, as opposed to the USB cable supplied with the device.

After the update is done, please insert the memory card back into the device, then go to 'File Manager' and execute the 'NDrive.sis' file located inside the 'NDrive' folder. After following these steps, your NDrive will be ready to run and can be accessed from the 'Applications' folder.
